I believe that every perspective is valid and legitimate. I recognize that everyone has their own lived journey, life story, or why and when they manage I use my outsider perspective and a neutral position to foster an environment that promotes open dialogue, trust, and forward momentum for the mission.
I don't believe in reinventing the wheel. I use existing external resources, personal networks, and evolving practices from leading organizations to ensure recommendations are grounded in learning from other organizations and consistent with industry standards.
I believe that what we co-create are "living documents". My experience allows me to strike the right balance of supporting the important mission of the organization (without weighing down decision-making). With strive to service the right balance between "too much process" and "not enough involvement-for-buy-in".
I value our collective time. I have deep admiration for the work you do, and I don't believe in wasting your time. As we work together, I will use the collective time wisely. My deliverables will give you the information you need to make informed and confident decisions about your giving and our time together will be grounded in our collective goals.
