The Climate Action Fund aims to resource local and state-based organizations working to connect the climate crisis with economic, racial, social and immigration issues at the community level.
Working in 13 states, the Equity Fund’s grantmaking supports some of the most powerful community-based civic engagement, grassroots organizing, powerbuilding, and voter turnout programs for climate and clean energy solutions in the country. The Equity Fund also supports grantees with its Policy Accelerator, which provides policy coaching, rapid-response policy research, and technical assistance on climate and clean energy policy campaigns; and its Communications Accelerator, which supports grantee partners to develop strategic communications capacity and strategies to combat fossil fuel disinformation and accelerate the pace and scale of change.
