Fund For a Safer Future plays a strategic role in the gun violence prevention movement. We are a funder collaborative that helps reduce gun violence in the United States by supporting evidence-based policies at the local, state and federal levels. We invest in organizations, research institutions, and advocates to strengthen policies that reduce the toll of gun violence, and we engage new donors in the movement.

As the only women's fund in the DRC, we promote and defend women's and girls' rights, invest in feminist activists, and reinforce feminist movements by strengthening the impact of grassroots women's organizations by providing them financial and technical resources to end gender-based violence, increase SRHR, obtain broader engagement of women in politics, assist those displaced by conflict, and build peace within communities that have been torn apart by war, ravaged by Ebola, and now, by Covid-19.
